Urban Eat appoints Fast Web Media to handle digital and social activity in £1m marketing investment
Urban Eat has appointed digital marketing agency Fast Web Media to handle all digital and social media activities in a £1m investment.
Appointment: Fast Web Media will handle digital marketing
The food-to-go brand is investing in a four-year plan to increase its digital presence.
John Want, head of marketing at Urban Eat, said: “We talked to a number of leading digital agencies before ultimately deciding to appoint Fast Web Media who were clear winners, impressing us at every stage of the tender process.
“They also have a proven track record in supporting big brands such as Carling, Coors Light and Golden Wonder which we know will prove invaluable as we look to take the Urban Eat brand to the next exciting stage of its development.”
Stephen O’Malley, director of client services at Fast Web Media, added: “It’s a fiercely competitive market and we will be running multiple digital campaigns to boost awareness and drive further engagement online for Urban Eat.”
In its first activity for the brand, Fast Web is launching a ‘sandwich selfie’ promotion that will offer consumers the chance to spend New Year’s Eve in New York.
