Wire Media has added Jonathan Rennie, previously assistant editor at STV Online, to its team as account director.
During his time at STV he helped launch STV Local and STV Cities, and prior to this he held a role at public relations agency Weber Shandwick.
Of his appointment to Glasgow based Wire Media, Rennie said: "Wire Media is a fresh, exciting and dynamic business and [directors] Lee [Beattie] and Pam [Scobbie]'s understanding of the changing face of the UK media is truly reflected in the company's approach and relationship with its clients.”
Scobbie added: "Jonathan is a brilliant addition to our growing team. His experience in managing campaigns and people, coupled with an outstanding knowledge of the UK's media landscape, makes him a terrific partner to help deliver our ambitious plans over the next few months."
In his new position, Rennie will head up one of the agency's teams, delivering campaigns for some of Wire Media's biggest clients, on a roster which includes names such as Tennent's Lager, DF Concerts, and Whyte & Mackay.
