Pawnbrokers Albermarle Bond and Herbert Brown award £1m marketing account to The Foundry

Pawnbrokers Albemarle Bond and Herbert Brown have appointed Manchester-based The Foundry to handle all above and below-the-line communications in a seven figure deal.

Steve Plowman, chief officer of the group that owns both Albemarle Bond and Herbert Brown, said the appointment comes as the group is “entering a phase of significant development”.

He added: “The Foundry brings together years of knowledge and marketing credentials to help us build our business with creative flair and commercial common sense.”

The Foundry MD, Kevin Murphy, commented: “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Albemarle Bond and Herbert Brown. This is a fast-paced environment with an unusual mix of financial services and retail – it is good to see that our experience in both sectors has been recognised – we certainly have the skills to meet their high expectations.”

The Foundry will now tackle developing all aspects of Albemarle Bond and Herbert Brown’s marketing.
