Exam Results Helpline has turned to Twitter and Facebook to offer advice to students receiving their exam results.

Advisers will be helping students using the social platforms, instructing on how to use UCAS Clearing as well as discussing topics such as gap years and re-sits.

Hollyoaks actors Jazmine Franks (Esther Bloom) and Alfie Browne-Sykes (Jason Roscoe) are backing the Exams Results Helpline.

The Department for Education funded system will have about 40 advisors available a day, with exam results in England set to be received on Thursday 14 August.
