Home Group appoints Leighton as strategic partner

Home Group, a leading provider of affordable housing, has appointed creative and technical services company Leighton as its strategic partner in relation to their online and mobile presence.

The first fruits of the partnership, a Home Group housing sales site, is set to launch shortly. Having formerly marketed new housing developments through individual sales offices, the new site enables Home Group to display and market all of their developments online together and includes a user-friendly search facility.

Home Group’s director of IS, David Redpath, said: “After an extensive UK-wide tender process we are delighted to award this contract to Leighton, and look forward to working together as we move forward with our IS strategy.”

Leighton’s CEO, Lyle McCalmont, said: “We are really excited to be working with Home Group on such a key part of their information services strategy at time of significant growth for them. All of the team at Leighton are looking forward to sharing our digital expertise and passion for customer experience with Home Group on this exciting programme of online development.”

McCalmont adds that the contract will lead to the creation of up to 10 new development jobs at Leighton’s County Durham headquarters over the course of the agreement.
