Future, the media group and digital business, has shaken up its management team with a raft of new appointments and promotions to dovetail with the selection of Richard Haley to serve as CFO from October.

Haley will be joined by Nial Ferguson as content and marketing director, a role which will entail both creating content and marketing brand strategy. Elsewhere Jeff Turner will be tasked with serving as commercial director for advertising, a position which includes oversight of commercial planning, ad ops and commercial content creation.

They will be joined on the board by Paul Layte, commercial director for consumer revenues, as he oversees circulation, subscriptions, digital editions, trade marketing, affiliates, consumer & product insight, data strategy and international licensing.

The reshuffle doesn’t end their either with Emma Harvey, product and technology director; Michael Venus, HR and communications director and Charlie Speight, senior vice president, also joining the team.

Future’s CEO, Zillah Byng-Maddick, commented: “I am delighted to be working with such a strong team with a wealth of Media, Retail, and Technology experience; this is the right team for the next stage of the Future journey and I am looking forward to working together with them”.
