A group of enterprising part-time football players have combined their passion for a real-life kick about with their day jobs as EA employees by recreating the hit FIFA videogame to create an uncanny mashup which has mesmerised over 3m YouTube viewers.

Mimicking dusty FIFA tropes such as the classic isometric camera angles, flashy on screen graphics, over the top celebrations, player icons and even a full commentary the video does a good job of merging both worlds.

The nostalgia soaked venture swiftly went viral on social media with fans lapping up the assiduous attention to detail lavished on the obsessive enterprise.
