The Recommended Agency Register (RAR) has appointed Katie Packham as client development manager, where she will develop the company’s client base.

Joining from the PRCA, where she built up the association’s Find An Agency service, Packham has helped to oversee review processes for major brands such as Allianz Insurance, El Passo and WD40.

Of her appointment, she said: “I have loved my time at PRCA but I’m really delighted to join RAR. I’m a big believer in the RAR approach and can’t wait to get started. I know first hand that there is a demand from clients for the type of service we offer and I look forward to really establishing RAR as the go-to resource on agency selection.”

The appointment comes at a time of growth for the RAR, sister company of The Drum, with an agency development executive and an executive assistant also being recruited to join the team, which spans both Glasgow and London.

Steve Antoniewicz, managing director of the RAR, said: “Katie joins us at an exciting time for the business and will be a great asset. Katie obviously comes with experience and expertise of agency selection and of the PR category, which will be very valuable. Katie’s role will be to grow and develop our client base across all categories not just PR.”
