TfL encourages Londoners to explore 'without leaving London' this summer

Transport for London (TfL) is celebrating the experiences on offer within the capital, in a bid to encourage Londoners to make use of off-peak travel.

Working with a team of six illustrators the creative explores the numerous experiences on offer within London from boarding a UFO to visiting an alpaca.

Created by M&C Saatchi, ‘Without Leaving London’ integrated campaign will run across press, outdoor (including digital), radio, content and digital display until Sunday 7 September.

“London is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, and part of TfL’s mission is to encourage and enable those who live and work in the city to access all that it has to offer,” said TfL head of marketing operations, Miranda Leedham. “We are encouraging people to get out there this summer, get on the network, and try something new.”

Grant Parker, head of art and creative director at M&C Saatchi, added: ““The brief for this campaign was to show people the breadth of inspiring things they can see in London, to get them out of their routines, and tell them how to get there with Transport for London. And we wanted to create something that reflects this brand’s impressive design heritage.”

In addition to the creative posters the campaign will include a content element comprising of a Time Out takeover, with co-branded landing page and curated Time Out articles as well as a BuzzFeed quiz.
