Edinburgh Airport is encouraging visitors to the Commonwealth Games to re-evaluate the airport with its largest ad campaign outside of the city.

Specifically focusing on Glasgow and the Games the campaign highlights Edinburgh’s proximity to Glasgow and the improved transport links between the two cities as well as the key destinations that you can fly to from Edinburgh but not Glasgow.

In addition to running in the opening and closing ceremony programmes, different daily adverts will appear in the daily programmes, specifically advertising Edinburgh Airport destinations.

A similar joint Citylink Air and Edinburgh Airport campaign is set to follow the Games activity in mid-August primarily targeting the west end and south side of Glasgow.

A mobile city centre 48 sheet campaign will run during the weekends of mid-August in a bid to capture the attention of more Glaswegians.
