Carrera has appointed marketing agency Anomaly Amsterdam, following a four-way pitch, to develop a new global brand platform for the eyewear company.

Anomaly’s role will see them involved in brand and business building activities on multiple fronts including foundational business and brand strategy, communications planning, advertising, partnerships, digital and social media.

Hazelle Klønhammer, Anomaly Amsterdam partner, president, said: “Carrera is one of those hidden gems, with a rich brand history and so much untapped potential. Their ambition and strong desire for progress across every aspect of their business is inspiring.”

Carrera is owned by the Safilo Group which produces and distributes house eyewear brands including Safilo, Polaroid, Smith Optics and Oxydo.
