BBC releases first Doctor Who season 8 trailer
The first full-length trailer for the eighth season of Doctor Who has been released online by the BBC.
The short video, created by Red Bee Media, features the newly regenerated Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi, and his companion Clara - as well as some old enemies.
Season eight has been beset with leaks following the release of six unauthorised scripts and Capaldi's debut episode onto the web two months before the show's launch.
In response to the leaks, the BBC launched the #keepmespoilerfree social media campaign to convince fans not to read the scripts.
The show will broadcast worldwide on August 23.
