Calor Gas has appointed DLKW Lowe as their lead creative agency following a competitive pitch for the £3.5m contract.

The commission will see DLKW tasked with developing a brand strategy and integrated creative communications for the gas supplier TV, print, outdoor, digital and direct mail channels.

Andy Brotherton, head of marketing at Calor said: "This is the start of a very exciting chapter in the growth of the Calor brand. DLKW Lowe is going to help fuel this growth by bringing this modern and forward thinking energy brand to life, and through reaching out to more domestic and business customers in more sectors than ever before.

James Pool, managing partner at DLKW Lowe added: “Calor is a brilliant business, famous for their ubiquitous red and blue cylinders that we see all around us. But there’s so much more of the story to tell, and we look forward to sharing it with those customer groups who’ll enjoy it most.”

The announcement comes hot on the heels of a new business win for Lenovo, secured just last week.
