Ad tech company Adbrain has hired Tim Abraham from Xaxis to take on a director of data platforms role.

Appointment: Tim Abraham

Abraham was EMEA director of data and audience at Xaxis, and prior to that he was at AOL’s analytical services division. At Adbrain, he will work within the company’s London-based engineering team on expanding data management capabilities and data partnerships.

Gareth Davies, CEO and co-founder of Adbrain, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Tim to the Adbrain family.

“He proved instrumental in driving Xaxis’ global data proposition and is a hugely respected leader in the programmatic data space. His knowledge and expertise will no doubt prove invaluable as we continue to enable our customers to unlock, enrich and intelligently activate their data in mobile and across devices.”

The appointment follows a $7.5m Series A funding round by Adbrain in March this year.
