Cinime, the interactive cinema app, has agreed a partnership with China Times, advertising partner to Wanda Cinema Line, which will see it expand its reach to the Chinese market.

The partnership will see Cinime work with China’s largest cinema chain to enable its advertisers to provide pre-show interactive advertising to its audiences, similar to the UK partnership that it has with Digital Cinema Media.

AJ Simpson, CEO of Cinime’s parent company, Yummi Media Group, said, “China boasts one of the largest cinema industries in the world and our new partnership with China Times will enable us to bring Cinime to this huge audience and take advantage of a market that is becoming increasingly influential. We feel that cinime offers advertisers a real opportunity to capitalise on this growth and we’re looking forward to working with China Times to introduce the mobile app to such a dynamic market.”

Cinime currently works with Odeon and Vue cinemas within the UK.
