SapientNitro London hires Mark Hunter as ECD

SapientNitro has hired former chief creative officer at Deutsch LA, Mark Hunter to take on the role of vice president and executive creative director for London.

Hunter, a former executive creative director at both Havas London and TBWA\London, has been working with SapientNitro on a number of special projects since February, which included winning the integrated advertising account for Let There Be Beer.

“SapientNitro is a hugely successful, hugely driven company that bring skills and expertise to the table most agencies can’t. There is no limit to their ambitions and I’m excited about helping SapientNitro to try to realize them," commented Hunter.

Meanwhile, Gaston Legorburu, senior vice president & worldwide chief creative officer, added: “We are so excited about this latest addition to our creative leadership team. Mark has an outstanding creative pedigree and has worked both in London and abroad on some of the world’s leading brands – but most importantly he has incredible energy for the work. I look forward to seeing what the injection of his talents will do to further raise the creative output for our clients.”

The agency's vice president and chief creative officer for Europe, Malcolm Poynton, will continue in post SapientNitro has said.
