Blinkbox teams with 4Music to broadcast music UK live festival
Blinkbox and 4Music have struck up a deal which will see the channel act as official broadcast partner for blinkbox music UK Live.
The partnership includes backstage coverage presented by 4Music’s Miquita Oliver to include interviews, backstage footage and live performances from Jessie J, The Saturdays, The Vamps and Jason Derulo.
Iain Sawbridge, marketing director for blinkbox music commented: "We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our first anniversary and hitting 1.5 million app downloads, than sponsor this amazing event. We have lots coming this summer and beyond, but for now, we're off to have a dance to Rixton."
The festival, produced in associated with AEG Live, takes place at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on 22 June, Ipswich’s Chantry Park on 28 June and Weston-super-Mare beach on 29 June and will also get extra exposure across 4music.com and Heatworld online as well as being supported by a competition in Heat Magazine, and on Box TV’s other channels.
