The first images have been published of a fresh wave of 250 emoji’s to be added to the current emoticon list for Google, Apple, Twitter et al.

Devised by the Unicode Consortium the new list features an eclectic range of random objects, figures and symbols which the organisation hopes will inspire artists to create new icons to match the proposed designs.

Some of the more ambiguous figures to make the cut include ‘Three Rays Right’, ‘Right Anger Bubble’ and ‘Man in business suit levitating’ – the latter of which was introduced as a means to represent jumping.

The full range of miscellaneous symbols and pictographs can be viewed on the Unicode Consortium website.
