PRCA Dare Midlands award winners announced: Slimming World, Willoughby PR, PDSA, WAA, McCann PR

The PRCA Dare Awards Midlands saw Slimming World named In-House Team of the Year, with Liquid picking up Consultancy of the Year.

The ceremony, held at The Rep on Centenary Square in Birmingham last night, also awards WAA after its 3D printer launch for Maplin, in the Live, Launched and Loud category, while the agency also won Technology, Trade and B2B awards for its Gibbs and Dandy campaign.

Other winners included McCann PR in the Campaign Challenges for ‘The MacMillan Tree of Light, while the agency also won awards in the Media Marketing and Measurement categories.

Francis Ingham, director general of the PRCA, said: “I’d like to commend all of the winners of this year’s DARE Awards Midlands. Our judges have seen a wealth of PR talent and some highly commendable and innovative campaigns.”

Lincolnshire County Council picked up the Consumer Relations award, Willoughby PR was the winner of the Consumer Relations category and PDSA won the Digital and Social Strategy campaign for the Vote that Counts campaign.
