The Post Office has appointed Rapp to its roster to handle its data analytics as part of a £3.3m contract.

The Post Office put out a tender for four suppliers to support its activity in the customer management space, with the specific aim to find three data analysis experts who could provide advance data analysis in order to help the Post Office improve its customer targeting and one data broker to facilitate the purchase of cold data from external sources.

Joining Rapp on the roster is CACI Limited and Aimia Proprietary Ltd. MediaLab Group was awarded the separate £1m contact for data broker services.

The data analysis contact will run for a maximum of four years with a two year initial term followed by the option to extend for a further two years.
