UK Broadband, part of the PCCW Group that includes HKT, Hong Kong’s telecommunications and mobile service provider, has appointed adconnection to its media planning and buying account, to support the launch of its new London-based broadband brand, Relish.
From 28 June, a multi-media campaign, created by The Corner, will run across the capital lead by online and mobile activity and supported by large format posters, roadside and underground activity and digital outdoor formats in ‘key areas’ such as Canary Wharf.
Will Harnden, marketing director at UK Broadband, said: “We were impressed with adconnection’s track record of working with new and fast growing brands and we look forward to some great results.”
Relish, which is ‘plug-and-play and fibre-fast’ doesn’t require a landline and can be delivered to homes and offices within 24 hours anywhere in central London, from £20 a month. It also offers a mobile wireless device called a Pocket Hub which puts a ‘Wi-Fi hotspot in your pocket’ for consumers on the move.
