The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson’s office, has begun a marketing campaign to highlight the launch of the city’s renting initiative in a bid to increase the professionalism of renting in London.

Created by St Luke’s following a tender, the campaign will promote The London Rental Standard, an initiative that will offer accreditation to letting agents and landlords, setting standards for them to meet.

Activity will run across outdoor, print and digital channels over a three month period.

Dayna Brackley, senior manager marketing, brand and digital at, Greater London Authority, said: “The London Rental Standard is an important part of the Mayor’s push to improve London’s private rented sector and make London the greatest and fairest city in the world. St Luke’s strategic rigour and creative energy made them the perfect partner for this important task.”

The campaign rolled out last week, targeting landlords, letting agents and tenants.

Media planning and buying has been handled by MEC London.
