Integrated multi-channel agency Cube3 has bolstered the size of its team by a third with six new hires being made after a first quarter which saw agency turnover grow by 31%.

Cube3’s digital team has been increased by four new members.

Gareth Thain, previously of HAVAS, has been appointed as senior digital project manager and he will be supported by digital project manager, Daisy Hessey, who has joined from Click Consult, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of projects.

Also joining the growing digital team are Matthew Hanson as technical lead, formerly with HGA Creative, and Mike Mellor, also from Click Consult, joins Cube3 as a digital visualiser.

Investment has also been made in to the client services and new business team, with Amy Towne appointed as new business and marketing executive, a role designed to drive the agency’s growth, both regionally and across the UK.

The client services team has expanded with the appointment of senior account executive, Nathan Kelly who was previously at Amaze.

This positive growth is largely attributed to the investment in all areas of the business, plus the introduction of two new teams to the internal structure:

Insight and Strategy led by Saul Peake and Communications led by Clair Morris, has accounted for 24% of the business’ turnover during the first quarter.

Over the past eighteen months Cube3 has celebrated some impressive client wins and delivered results through a tactical and strategic approach to projects and campaigns.

Speaking of the new hires and growth of the business, Karl Barker, CEO at Cube3 said: “We are investing heavily in to all areas of the business to ensure that we have the people power to get our clients results. We have long been developing our digital offering, but strategy and communications are intrinsic to the understanding of our clients and leveraging commercial success for them, which is why we have chosen to introduce and invest in these areas of expertise.”
