Tight Briefs is back – The Drum teams up with Paddy Power to launch Tight Briefs World Cup

The Drum has teamed up with Paddy Power for Tight Briefs

The Drum and Paddy Power are teaming up to launch the Tight Briefs World Cup.

Tight Briefs is our weekly creative contest which challenges the industry to come up with quick-fire ads and posters in response to a hypothetical topical brief.

Starting next week, The Drum and Paddy Power will be setting a World Cup-themed brief every Friday morning and creatives will have the remainder of that day to scamp up a response.

It will then be up to our readers to pick the best each week, and the overall winner as chosen by them will lift the Tight Briefs World Cup at the end of the tournament.

A Paddy Power spokesperson said: “Given we love nothing more than saddling up in a pair of our lucky pants and riding the news agenda, we’re delighted to be involved in some topical World Cup Tight Briefs action.”

The Drum’s last Tight Briefs competition saw hundreds of creatives from across the UK and beyond take on briefs ranging from promoting football in the US to designing a new currency for Scotland.

Our first Tight Briefs World Cup brief will go live on thedrum.com at 9am next Friday, 6 June.
