Police Mutual hands marketing account to Cogent Elliott

Police Mutual has appointed Cogent Elliott to handle its marketing account, following a competitive pitch process.

The company, which provides insurance, tailored healthcare and advice for police officers, appointed Cogent at a time when Police Mutual is making new acquisitions and launching new initiatives.

David Wright, sales and marketing director at Police Mutual, said: “This appointment is a key part of our journey and will help us shape the way we communicate with new and existing members to bring our story to life.”

Mike Phillipson, CEO of Cogent Elliott, added: “We are delighted to have been appointed by Police Mutual. Right from the start of the pitch process, there was a great chemistry. We now look forward to working with them to develop a distinctive and hard-working marketing programme.”

Police Mutual has almost 200,000 members.
