TrustATrader.com has appointed Boutique Media to expand its media activity, which will see the brand’s television debut in May.

TrustATrader is an online directory of trusted tradespeople.

TrustATrader, an online directory of trusted tradespeople, already spends £1.5m on radio advertising each year. Its two-pronged strategy is now to sign up more traders while doubling the number of consumer visits to their website over the next 12 months. The campaign launches on SKY on 19th May with targeting split between tradesmen and housewives.

TrustATrader.com owner Gary McEwen pointed to “the combination of buying power and service” as the stand-out reason for Boutique’s appointment.

Simon Bollon, managing partner at Boutique, described the TrustATrader deal as “a significant appointment for us in the face of tough competition”, adding that he expects the agency to grow by 30 per cent this year.
