Independent cheese producer and milk processor Wyke Farms has revealed that it is working with acclaimed director Ridley Scott’s commercial production company RSA Films on its next TV campaign.

Directed by RSA director Toby Dye and set to be launched later in the year, the RSA film crew have been shooting on location at Wyke Farms in Bruton, Somerset, capturing the essence of Wyke Farm’s values of family tradition and farming.

“It's an honour to work with RSA, the best filmmakers in the world. We felt only an RSA Director like Toby Dye could truly capture the gourmet of beautiful countryside where we farm and make our cheese,” said Rich Clothier, MD and third generation family member at Wyke Farms. “We have to tell shoppers why our cheese is so unique especially when trust issues driven by horsemeat and Halal mean that our message has never been so relevant.”

The commercial will convey the company’s brand values of provenance, passion for the countryside and family farming in Somerset. The creative will champion the biggest contributor of all to Wyke Farms, the cow. Clothier explained: “We deliberately made the cow the hero of our advert; she loves and cares about nature and the Somerset countryside almost as much as we do.”
