Four of the creators of Candy Crush Saga have leapt onto the Sunday Times Rich List, with a combined fortune worth hundreds of millions of pounds.

The annual list, which details the fortunes of 1,000 British-based entrants, saw Riccardo Zacconi, chief executive of King Digital Entertainment, the company behind the game, make the list along with three other staff members, the BBC reports.

The creator of household appliance internet retailer AO.com, John Roberts also joined the list for the first time ranked 246th, along with former Tesco boss Sir Terry Leahy who ranked 863rd with a wealth of £100m.

2014’s list revealed that Britain’s wealthiest inhabitants saw their wealth rise 15 per cent last year to £519bn.

Indian-born brothers Sri and Gopi Hinduja, co-chairs of the Hinduja Group, a multinational conglomerate, topped the list with a joint fortune of £11.9bn.
