AnalogFolk has appointed Lise Pinnell, previously digital planning director at JWT London, to the new role of head of strategy.

Pinnell will manage the department in London and be responsible for overseeing best in class strategic planning across the agency’s client list, which includes AG Barr, Chivas Regal, Dulux, Malibu Rum and Sainsbury’s.

She will report to chief strategy officer, Matt Dyke, who said of the appointment: “Strategic excellence has been fundamental to the success of this agency, so it was important for us to find somebody with heavyweight experience and a thirst to lead breakthrough thinking. Lise has both of these in spades.”

Prior to joining JWT in 2010, Pinnell worked at agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather, Chemistry and Poke.

She said: “AnalogFolk's innovative use of technology to connect brands to people delivers great results for their clients and it's somewhere I've always been attracted to. I'm excited to be joining a very talented group of folk.”

Pinnell will take up her new role in June.
