Little Dish is targeting mums and dads of toddlers with a new advertising campaign cast from the brand’s online community.

The ad features a little boy and his mother shopping with the child’s voice narrated by an adult in a bid to bring humour into the story which sees the mum chasing the little boy around the supermarket as he makes a bee-line to the Little Dish aisle.

The creative marks a change in direction for the brand and was cast from its own online community, appealing for auditions via its Facebook page with two-year-old twins Albert and Finnian Manley landing the starring role.

The first TV ad in the campaign will air from Monday 19 May on Nick Junior with a 30-second and 20-second cut airing across channels including Disney Jr, Channel Five, Nick Junior, Tiny Pop, Boomerang and Cartoonio this summer.

Little Dish’s YouTube channel will also host the ad with supporting PR and social media running throughout the year.

The ad itself was created by Threepipe along with Atticus Finch. Threepipe will also handle integrated PR.
