Heineken appoints Geometry for global sponsorship activations account

Heineken has appointed Geometry Global to handle its global sponsorship activations account, ahead of the 2015 UEFA Champions League.

The news comes shortly after it was appointed to handle Bacardi’s account in the first quarter of this year.

A Heineken spokeswoman told The Drum: "Heineken has recently appointed Geometry to work on our 2015 UEFA Champions League Trade Marketing activities in both on and off premise outlets. We will work with them to give consumers fantastic experiences through our association with the world’s best club football competition.

“TBWA continue to work with us on our event activation continuing the great success we have had creating world class experiences for UCL fans such as the Ibiza Final, global Trophy Tour, Back Stadium Passes and at the UCL Final in Lisbon.”

Geometry Global, which also counts Ikea and Huggies among its clients, declined to comment on the win.
