Curb, the marketing agency, has appointed Chris Elrin as partner, to lead the strategy for Curb's commercial and brand innovation offering.

Elrin joins from Universal Music, where he held the role of commercial director, and directed commercial projects and partnerships with brands such as O2, Samsung and Swarovski.

He said of his appointment: “Being able to translate everything I’ve done so far with and for music, artists and entertainment clients into any space - be it digital, outdoor, retail or virtual - is a totally unique opportunity. Curb is a business that has no boundaries, with amazing talent and partners.”

Prior to Universal Music, Elrin was head of digital at MediaCom, handling entertainment clients.

Anthony Ganjou, founder of Curb, added: “With his strong background in digital media campaigns and partnerships for household names and brands, Chris strikes the perfect balance between commerciality and innovation we strive for here at Curb. We’re very lucky to have him on board and look forward to drawing on his experience to keep us ahead of the pack.”

In the past, Curb has handled campaigns such as the Paddy Power sky-writing tweets and the makeover of the OXO Tower for the Sony PlayStation 4 launch.
