Premier Foods updates Loyd Grossman sauces with Coley Porter Bell

Cooking sauce brand Loyd Grossman, owned by Premier Foods, has revealed a new look which aims to demonstrate the core values of the brand.

Tasked with creating a look that vibrantly reflected the brand essence and values across the range of Italian, Thai, Indian and Tex-Mex sauces, Coley Porter Bell has developed new graphics for the existing jar structure.

The new design celebrates the product ingredients with dynamically composed photography and rich accent colours which will serve to aid navigation and reflect the brand’s flavours. The brand marque has remained the same.

Jon Burton, category marketing director at Premier Foods, commented: “The new design created by Coley Porter Bell clearly demonstrates its understanding of the product variant and the need to help shoppers navigate the very busy category of cooking sauces.”

Stuart Humm, creative director at Coley Porter Bell, added: “The new look is dynamic and takes cues from the quality ingredients in the sauces and targets people who are passionate about food, but don’t necessarily have the time to cook a meal from scratch. Ultimately, creating an adaptable and functional identity is the primary consideration, so it’s important that the branding stands out for Loyd Grossman as a brand name, but also be something that fits with the industry.”

The work is the first from the agency since winning the Premier Foods account last summer.
