Shoptility announces appointment of three marketing agencies to support its launch later this year

Shoptility will launch later this year

Shopping search engine Shoptility has appointed krow Communications, Walker Media and Fishburn to help support the launch of the company later this year.

Aiming to bring the human touch back to the online shopping experience by enabling direct conversation between consumers and retailers, Shoptility has selected the three agencies to work across different facets of its promotion.

Krow Communications will handle the development of the Shoptility brand story, with Walker Media delivering above the line communications including television.

Communications consultancy Fishburn has been tasked with social media and running the press launch to consumers, as well as raising the corporate profile among key business audiences as Shoptility’s on-going agency.

“We have a great story and we need the right partners to help us tell it. With krow Communications, Walker Media and Fishburn on-board I’m confident we’ve got the right team to help us kick-start an online shopping revolution,” commented Shoptility founder and chief executive Will Lownsbrough.

Tom Hings, marketing director at Shoptility added: “We are planning an ambitious marketing push for our launch and beyond. These three agencies stood out for being the best in their class and with a clear understanding of the retail and technology space. We are looking forward to working with them.”

Of the appointment, John Quarrey, founder and business director of krow Communications, said the win was “really important for the agency” and that there was an “immediate spark and a shared ambition with the experienced Shoptility team.” Walker Media’s chief executive Simon Davis described being part of the launch as “tremendously exciting”, and Nadia Gabbie, consumer MD of Fishburn, said it was “delighted” with the opportunity and “relishing working with the Shoptility team, and indeed krow and Walker Media, to launch this online shopping service to the world.”

For the launch all Shoptility communications activity will be fully integrated, with PR and wider marketing communications working together.
