Philips has introduced its new brand line, “Innovation and You”, with an integrated digital campaign created by Ogilvy.

Looking to convey its belief that “innovation is only meaningful if it delivers on people’s unmet needs and desires”, the creative highlights the ways in which Philips products and services fit into people’s lives.

The real-life stories are being featured on the dedicated ‘Innovation and You’ site, where the UK public have been encouraged to view and share the video content.

Philips hopes the activity will reach over two million people, with head of brand and integrated communications UK and Ireland, Wander Bruijel saying: “Our commitment is to deliver innovation that matters to people, by making healthcare more affordable and accessible, improving people’s health and wellbeing through our consumer appliances, and making the world more sustainable through our lighting solutions.”

He continued: “Our products really can make a difference to people’s lives. This is what we mean when we talk about ‘innovation and you’.”

The video content has also been made available on Philips’ social media platforms and is being supported with a consumer PR campaign led by Ketchum. Carat handled the media planning and buying.
