GroupM takes majority stake in aMVG

GroupM has taken a majority stake in mobile media agency aMVG (Aerodeon), based in Turkey.

The agency specialises in developing mobile media strategies and technologies for its clients, which include Dailymotion, Vodafone and Fiat.

Unaudited revenues for aMVG for the year ended 31 December 2013 were TRY8.9 million with gross assets of approximately TRY8.4 million as at the same date.

The acquisition by GroupM is part of owner WPP’s strategy of developing its services in fast growing markets and sectors.
