Rich Coggin brought in as creative partner as Spinnaker restructures to focus on creative output

Rich Coggin has joined Spinnaker as a creative partner in a move by the agency to bolster its creative team and focus on its content output.

“Driving consumer brand participation has never been more important. The structure of our agency is now geared towards work that answers this need,” explained Robert Goldsmith, managing partner at Spinnaker.

“Rich brings deep experience in this area with the campaigns he has created at AIS. We are delighted he is joining the team and we are looking forward to the creative added value that he will bring.”

At AIS, Coggin worked across the Sony PlayStation Europe, Sony Music BMG, Skoda and Vodafone brands.

The appointment was made by Spinnaker as part of a wider restructure to put a focus on creative output centred around story-telling content.

As part of the changes, Clare Winter, executive creative director, has been appointed to the newly created position of design director.

Coggin's appointment is effective next week.
