Bob Hoskins, the actor who made the tagline ‘It’s good to talk’ iconic after starring for British Telecom in its long running campaign, has died.

The retired actor, famous for roles in The Long Good Friday, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Super Mario Brothers, has died from pneumonia, according to his agent.

Hoskins found the catchphrase from the AMV BBDO campaign haunted him throughout his career, even after it had finished.
