The winners of the IAB Creative Showcase for March 2014 have been announced, with Jam's 'Mini Me' for Nescafé Dolce Gusto sitting pretty in the top spot. AMV BBDO's daredevil 'Loop the Loop' for Pepsi Max resides in second place and Code Computerlove's Hardware Puzzle App rounds out the top three.

Entries are accepted for the showcase each month from agencies across the UK, with further information available to view on the IAB website.

First Place: Jam 'Mini Me' for Nescafé Dolce Gusto

Nescafe and Jam worked with a world-renowned coffee artist to create real-time coffee portraits of its Facebook fans. The social content reached 7.7 million people in the UK and drove machine sales up 25 per cent, compared to the previous month.

Second Place: AMV BBDO 'Loop the Loop' Pespi Max

To re-engage the “YouTube Generation” with Pepsi Max, the agency launched the Pepsi Max Unbelievable YouTube Channel. A channel that celebrates unbelievable feats, skills and experiences, AMV BBDO discovered stuntman and gymnast Damien Walters, a free running stuntman who challenges himself physically every day by back flipping over buildings, jumping over cars and achieving gymnastic triumphs - but never before like this. Damien accepted the Pepsi Max challenge of running loop the loop on foot. The film with Damien launched the YouTube channel and the results have been great, with over six million views within a week.

Third Place: Code Computerlove 'Hardware Puzzle App' Various Production

An interactive iPad puzzle app, used to promote the launch of a new project by electronic music artists Various Production, provided a standout, creative and interactive way to pre-release music tracks to new and existing VP fans, and media. The idea for the puzzle app started with the Rubik’s Cube, which Code Computerlove brought into the digital age, mapping music and video to the individual puzzle pieces. Each part of the puzzle has its own sound sample, making it stimulating from an audio as well as a visual point of view. By putting each piece in the right place to unlock the puzzles, you can access exclusive tracks and videos and, of course, there’s a hidden cheat in there. A bonus track can also be accessed if the user shares the app on social media.Using digital technology has increased the impact of the project launch. The videos Code created are also uncompromising in the story they tell, each powerfully presenting Various Production’s new music in a completely fresh way.
