The creative follows HMV’s 2014 debut cinema campaign for Award’s Season, with the latest work promoting the store’s Blu-ray Superhero collection which includes Spider-Man, X-Men and The Dark Knight trilogy.
Bolder Creative has devised a detailed 3D city for the opening sequence constructed to mirror the look and feel associated with the genre. The camera then flies through the city to reveal Nipper the HMV dog (animated and dressed in his own superhero red cape).
A fast-paced edit of key shots from the various films on offer follows, composited into a cartoon strip design which was treated to look exactly like comic book illustrations.
