Paddy power is continuing to make hay from the recent sacking of Manchester United manager David Moyes, this time by taking over a giant media wall in Liverpool city centre proclaiming ‘Agent Motes, Mission: Accomplished’.

The sarcastic advert was purposefully conceived to resonate with Scouser’s familiar with a famous 1998 banner hung over Anfield, which had a dig at the clubs then chairman peter Johnson who switched sides to arch-rivals Everton.

Now with history having come full circle Paddy Power are keen to follow up their recent social media success by tapping into that vein of history.

A Paddy Power spokesperson said: “Liverpool fans are currently living the dream with a magic combination of their success and Man Utd’s failure. The shocking season for their Mancunian rivals has been made all the sweeter with Agent Moyes at the helm for their downfall.”
