Cancer Research UK confirms creative roster appointments following 6-month review

Cancer Research UK has unveiled its creative agency roster following a six month review.

London-based SomeOne has been appointed to handle brand for the charity with Conran Design Group, Purpose, Corporate Culture, Live and Breathe, PIN Creative and William Joseph selected as design agencies.

A number of design freelancers have also been appointed to the roster including Big Jon, Gene Cooke, Gill Sales, Paula Sayer and Tracey Goodland. Copywriting briefs will be handled by Big Jon, Joanne Dobie, Lisa (Remember) Pember, Sarah Myers and Sticky Content.

Cancer Research UK has also confirmed the agencies tasked with handling film production for the charity which are Buddy, Conran Design Group, Green Lions, Orillo Productions, Stripe, The Bank and Whispering Bob Broadcasting Company.

Event production will be managed by Drive Productions, One Big Star, Oxygen, Quintessentially Events, RPM and The Live Firm.

Of the appointments, Kate Eden, head of brand at Cancer Research UK, said: “In our relentless fight to beat cancer sooner, we need to deliver our inspiring brand message across every area of our organisation. We’re confident that our new creative agencies will help us communicate our message with even greater impact. These creative partnerships will strengthen our connection with our extensive range of audiences, helping us to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.”

Several agencies have already been briefed with a number of projects, working closely with Cancer Research UK teams across the organisation.
