Unilever works with JDO to create pack design for new Dove premium hair care range

Unilever has engaged JDO Brand Design & Innovation to create the pack design for its ‘Dove Advanced Hair Series’, a premium tier of products sitting above the core Dove hair care range.

JDO was tasked with creating a premium set of designs, establishing a platform leveraging the Dove brand and showcasing its expertise in hair care.

The resulting packs feature soft pastel hues to introduce the different needs states. Shampoo products boast a semi-transparent gradient which here’s the product format; conditioners remain pure and white with a gold foil icon introduced. Each cap is tinted with the respective complimentary colour to compliment the design.

Renato Rossi, global brand director, Dove hair luxury at Unilever, said: “JDO’s new premium pack designs represent a big step change for Dove. The new platform provides a much more premium offering from the core Dove hair care range and will allow us to bring the next generation of Dove hair care technology to a broader consumer base.”

JDO principal and founder Tim Jebb added: “The new design creates a beautiful premium presentation, white plus a hint of colour, allowing an integration of core Dove to the new platform and collections.”

The first launch from the product range is Dove Oxygen Moisture.
