P&O Cruises has appointed Founded as its lead strategic brand and creative agency, following a four-way competitive pitch process.
The British cruise line has tasked Founded with carrying out strategic brand development, as well as delivering campaigns across a host of integrated channels including TV, press and digital.
Commenting on the decision P&O Cruises marketing director Christopher Edgington said: “When the biggest ship built for the British cruise market sets sail on its maiden voyage from Southampton to the Mediterranean on March 14, 2015 it will mark a step change in holidays at sea and appeal to a whole new audience. Founded has shown not only the fresh and bold creative thinking we want but a clear ability to deliver with the passion that we need from a creative partner.
“As we enter a new and exciting phase for the brand we believe Founded has an intuitive understanding of what we’re trying to achieve and I’m confident they can help us bring it to life.”
In addition to the Britannia launch, Founded will work across the cruise line’s entire fleet.
