Outdoor equipment and clothing retailer Go Outdoors has launched a campaign to promote its new range ahead of the spring and summer camping season.

Created by McCann Manchester, the campaign, which looks to position the brand as selling “something for everyone”, kicks off this week with a 20-second TV ad on ITV1 and across selected satellite and digital channels.

Commenting on the decision to award the account to McCann Manchester, Go Outdoors head of marketing Sarah Fretwell said: “The McCann team demonstrated a blend of genuine insight into our market and customers coupled with a creative approach that will enable us to build a cohesive creative strategy for the mid and long term.”

The TV activity, featuring the voice of Brian Blessed, will be underpinned by a PR programme being run by GO Outdoors.
