This week, Ryanair unveiled its first television ad in 25 years – but how would you promote budget air travel?

.

Today's Tight Brief is simple: advertise a budget airline. The best idea will be shortlisted in the Chip Shop Awards.

Low-cost airlines have had their detractors down the years, and that's why Ryanair is making a concerted effort to buck up its notoriously lax customer service this year.

So how would you give these low-cost airlines a makeover and encourage more people to fly with them?

As always, you have just one day to complete this challenge, and to be in the running you need to send your ads and posters to tightbriefs@thedrum.com by midnight tonight.

The best ad, as chosen by our readers in a public vote next week, will be shortlisted in a special Tight Briefs category at this year's Chip Shop Awards.
