Jermain Jackman also social winner of The Voice, racking up 61% of mentions
Christina Marie was set to win The Voice in the week running up to yesterday’s finale, based on social discussion, research from social marketing firm Spreadfast has found.Marie accounted for 39 per cent of the conversation on the run up to last night’s show, but on the night Jermain Jackman accounted for 61 per cent of mentions – despite only garnering 15 per cent of conversation during the week.The boost in conversation for the 19-year-old may have come as Cheryl Cole called his mentor Will.i.am live on the show to praise Jackman, saying that he was ‘amazing’.
