Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan set for Festival of Media interview

Breaking Bad creator, Vince Gillgan has been added to the line-up at this year’s Festival of Media, taking place in Rome next week.

Gilligan, who will appear as part of a video link-up, will be interviewed by C Squared editor and chair and chairman, Charlie Crowe to discuss the show and its global fanbase.

Also speaking at the Rome Cavaleiri will be Lego’s head of global community, Peter Espersen, Mondelez International’s VP of global media & consumer engagement, Bonin Bough, Jay Altschulter, director of global media for Unilever and Martin Riley, chief marketing officer for Pernod Ricard Group.

Crowe commented: “Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is shaping up to be one of our most exciting speakers yet, with plenty of insights in-store in terms of compelling storytelling and how the media industry can channel this. This year’s Festival of Media Global is the most trend and insight-led yet, with other sessions revealing exclusive research into topics such as Millennials, Curious consumers, multiscreen behaviour, global spend forecasting, digital effectiveness and others.”

Meanwhile, Hollywood actor Kevin Bacon has pulled out of appearing.
