Chinese electronics manufacturer Hisense has launched its first website targeting UK consumers, designed by Leeds-based digital agency Parallax.

Hisense are one of the largest manufacturers of white goods and consumer electronics in the world, with an annual revenue of $15 billion. They are the fifth largest television manufacturer globally and the largest in China. Hisense also recently entered the tablet market with its Sero 7 model.

Looking to enter the UK marketplace for the first time, Hisense UK approached Parallax to help them develop a new website that would establish them as a reputable and trustworthy electronics manufacturer in an extremely competitive new territory.

Lawrence Dudley, director at Parallax, said: “By looking at the project from a consumer's point of view we've been able to put together a responsive website, which forms the foundation for the company's global digital rollout going forwards.”

The new Hisense UK site makes use of engaging imagery, intuitive navigation, bespoke iconography and clear product information, to deliver an excellent user experience across multiple display sizes and mobile devices. The site was developed using Parallax’s own content management system Expose.
