The Agency has announced annual results that show an increase in turnover by 50% and gross profit by 35% in 2013.
The firm (which delivers a range of planning, creative, digital and media services) also added five new members to its team last year, taking the total headcount to 25 across its offices in Bath and London.
Saman Mansourpour, managing director of The Agency, believes that an enhanced focus on digital services has paid dividends: “We have invested heavily in our technology capabilities in light of new client wins and the increased emphasis on digital marketing in general by the industry. Our capabilities have broadened to include complex CRM system builds, marketing automation as well as data security and reporting. We have scaled our technology team with front-end and back-end PHP developers, as well as technical leads, giving us, we believe, one of the strongest technical departments in the region.”
Having won four awards at last year’s Marketing Industry Awards (now the Drum Network Awards), including Best UK Small Agency of the Year and the Chairman’s Award, so far in 2014, The Agency has signed four high profile brands to their client roster, as well as being nominated finalists in eight categories for this year’s RAR Awards, including Best Advertising Agency, Best Brand Strategists and Best Design Agency.
Amy Stobie, operations director, The Agency, said: “We’ve worked hard to build a marketing agency that’s fit for the modern world and a great and inspiring place to work.”
The Agency’s current client list includes the AA, BT, BSM, Del Monte, PC Gamer, .Net Magazine, Siemens Gigaset and Quintiles Pharmaceuticals.
